Mint blushed at the sudden compliment. She wasn’t used to the idea of a boy she just met calling her gorgeous. “Oh I- uh, um…” Mint shook her head and stood up straight. “Nice to meet you, Kai! And I am in highschool, I’m a junior.” She took a minute to imagine having a
cutenew friend in the same class with her and grinned. “Maybe we do have the same classes, you know?”
“Well, I’ll look for you when classes start up again, ey?” He winked, grin widening. “Yeah, I’m a junior, too! Just turned seventeen a couple months ago! Maybe we can partner up for projects or something; that’d be lots of fun, hmm?” His eyes crinkled up as he chuckled lightly. She had seemed so surprised when he called her gorgeous. A couple weeks of hanging out with him would change that, hopefully.
